I'm getting into car shows, as they are pretty popular in this area. I own a Ranger now, but its not worth the money getting it to show material. What would be a good truck or suv to invest in that is pretty cheap, and can be modified or fitted to be show quality? I know that any vehicle CAN be……but I wanna know some of the better models and years. Keep me informed guys.
Thanks guys. All good ideas. Anyone know the s10 clone….late 90s. I don't think tis Suzuki, but something with an S I'm sure. I like the s10s, my friend has an Xtreme. He showed it today. By the way, the show is mostly classics, no imports unfortunetly.

GMC made the s-15, but I think the Isuzu Hombre is what you're thinking of.

get like an old chevy truck… like a classic… they are nice to show…but idk what kind of car show it is…. if the classic type isn't really it…i can't think of any cheap vehicles that look good as show trucks… i think s10s and stuff look like crap with spinners and stuff… but like an escalade or a scion xB would be nice…but they aren't cheap…

Toyota 4×4 Tacoma trucks are a great platform to modify. They are very affordable and reliable.

CHEVY S-10's can be cheap and easy to modify with a small block V8,etc. I've seen some nice ones at shows.Early ones are probably best for hotrodding,1990 on back.
